Ingredients:
- 1 kg Organic Chicken
- Corn four 1 cup
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tbs garlic powder
- 1/2 tbs onion powder
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for fry
Method:
- Wash the chicken and clean it.
- But after washing dry its water by putting it into a seiz.
- Cut the chicken into pieces and put aside.
- Preheat your oil, in a deep or heavy bottom pan.
- Combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder into a large bowl.
- Pour the buttermilk into another bowl large enough for the chicken to be immersed in the buttermilk.
- Prepare your dredging station. Place your chicken in a bowl. After that, your bowl of buttermilk, and then, into your dry mixture.
- Take a piece of chicken, lightly dust them with your flour mixture, then dip them in the buttermilk until they are coated, and then place them in the flour mixture.
- Then take another piece of chicken that is in the flour mixture and then into the wet mixture.
- Make sure that the chicken is very thoroughly coated, or you will not achieve the crust and crunch you are looking for. Gently place the breasts in your hot oil.
- Repeat the process with all other pieces of chicken.
- When you put all the pieces of chicken into the oil then set a timer for 15 minutes.
- Take a thermometer and check out the temperature if the temperature of frying oil is 180 degrees F, then all your chicken is done.
- Remove the chicken from the oil and let it drain for 5 minutes.
- Garnish it as per your desire.
- And a delicious fried chicken dish is ready to serve.
