Rasmalai Cake Recipe
Ras malai, also known as rosomalai, or roshmalai, is a dessert from the Indian subcontinent. The dessert is called roshmalai/rosmalai in Bengali, ras malai in Hindi, and rasa malai in Odia. Ingredients:
- Sugar 1 cup
- Suji half cup
- All-purpose flour half cup
- Curd half cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Oil half cup
- Dry fruits
Method:
- Take a bowl and add sugar and curd mix them well. Then add vanilla and also add your favorite flavor.
- Add baking powder 1 tsp and baking soda half tsp. Then add suji into it, add all-purpose flour slowly, and mix it.
- Then add milk to the mixture to make it thin. Cover it and leave it for 15 minutes.
- Take a bowl grease it with oil and put the mixture into the bowl. And bake it for 25 minutes.
- Take out the cake after 25 minutes and let it cool down. Make holes in the cake with the help of a toothpick.
- On the other side boil 0.75 liter milk in a pan. Add sugar, vanilla, and fresh cream to the milk. Boil milk till it remains half in quantity and then take out the milk and let it cool down.
- Now pour the milk on the cake and put it into the fridge to let it cool down for 15 minutes.
- Then take it out from the refrigerator, now cake has absorbed all the milk cut the cake into pieces and serve it after garnishing it with dry fruits.
Note:
To bake the cake without oven take a pan and put a stand in the pan. Add water and keep the water quantity lower than the stand. Put a plate on the stand.
Put the cake pan which you have to bake on the plate and cover it with a lid.
Also, cover the lid with a cloth, and leave it for 25 minutes on low flame.
